FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When should I have my Senior portraits taken?

Senior portraits are typically done in the fall, winter, and spring of your senior year. Remember… schedules tend to get busy the closer we get to graduation, so plan ahead!

Will we have the option to use props?

Of course, anything that has meaning or is special to you may be used in the photoshoot.  I urge against using anything that will look outdated in several years.  We want these images to be timeless.

How do I choose a location?

This is what the planning meeting is all about. After you have filled out of your online questionnaire, I will start brainstorming locations to show you during our meeting.  These locations are all based on what you like, your style, and personality.

Can I have digital images?

Everything I do, I do both digital and print because I want you to have both. But mostly what I want is to give you a legacy image and a product that will last. That’s why I am a professional photographer and that’s why I am valuable. Everything you purchase comes both digitally and printed.

What is the best time of day for our session?

Living in Arizona, we are blessed with amazing sunrise and sunsets! The best time is usually first thing in the morning [are you an early bird?!] or a couple hours before sunset.  However, any time of the day is fine. If we have small children, I recommend morning sessions when they are more rested or just after an afternoon nap. 

How do I order prints and product?

A highlight of your experience with Picture Lady is that we design a custom video of your session to review at your reveal. This will showcase the images from our session together in which you can order from. We schedule this after your session for a week post shoot. This will be held in person in our studio or can be done online via Google Meet or Skype.

What if it rains or we need to reschedule?

A benefit of living in Arizona is our awesome weather! The downside to living in Arizona is our unpredictable weather! I understand things happened beyond both your and my control (such as the most recent pandemic). We will work with you to reschedule based on availability. If you need to reschedule for other reasons, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can open the date for someone else. We can reschedule without penalty with at least three (3) days notice. Cancellations are subject to a $50 non-refundable cancelation fee.
